Children will benefit on a holistic level as they work cooperatively in the arts of storytelling, song, and hands-on crafts. Lower elementary students will “travel” faraway seas and learn about pirates in the 4 day camp, “Give Me an Arghhh for Yoga”. Upper elementary students will gain self-confidence and cooperation as they learn to control their emotions and be active in their choices, in the 4 day camp “Cross this Bridge with Me”. A light snack will be provided at the end of each day for both sessions.

The Instructor:

Kim Stroud, RYT200, has had a personal love of yoga for many years and, combined with her experience as an elementary school teacher since 2006, she is the perfect teacher to bring a Yoga Kids Camp to The Yoga Connection. Kim became interested in the benefits of yoga for kids when she saw first hand the stresses of school, friends, and home life on her students. In 2014 she was awarded grant funding in her local school system to study yoga for children and teach it within her school. She completed the Radiant Child Yoga basic training, levels 1-3. She continued her training and obtained her RYT 200 in 2015. Kim’s approach is to facilitate children in their natural abilities to explore the fun side of anything, including yoga.

Each session is $115 please register for the session you are interested in your child attending.
