Is Yoga Therapy Right For Me?
Yoga therapy is a private, one-on-one session that occurs in a safe environment. Different to a group class, these sessions will address the specific needs of the individual. Your yoga therapist will create a personalized yoga practice, that should also be followed at home and in-class to get the most out it. Yoga is a way of life, with our physical bodies influencing our state of mind. So your practice will usually be a combination of yoga poses as well as mindful awareness meditation.

Mindful Awareness Meditation is a technique that helps us unlock ourselves from habits of unconscious reaction to the new possibilities of responding and being in our daily lives. By becoming aware of our true experiences, we can gain insight into our habitual reactions such as anger, sadness, over-eating or judgement, and move toward real change.
