I just finished an amazing Kundalini workshop with HarDashan Khalsa. She spoke about the 10 bodies in kundalini yoga philosophy. What especially intrigued me was her description of the mind. There are 3 bodies of mind. The negative mind, the positive mind, and the neutral mind. We need the negative mind to help us stay cautious, careful and analytical. We need the positive mind to assist our creative, imaginative, excited about the future and goals. We need the neutral mind to calmly observe the negative and positive to reach a rational, effect action.
We need all of us, all parts of us, to make us whole. Each part informs the other.
I enjoy hearing perspectives about yogic philosophy from other yogis. Always informs my own understanding and practice. I don’t mind not knowing everything, it keeps me curious.
