TYC Yoga Instructor
Roseanne Woodrum moved to the Angier area in 1986, raised three children and taught swimming classes at the local pool. She later became a registered nurse and worked 14 years at Betsy Johnson Hospital. Roseanne was inspired one day to practice Bikram Hot Yoga at Open Door Yoga in Raleigh. She completed her 200-hour certification as a yoga instructor in 2012 under the direction of Martha Catz at The Yoga Connection in Smithfield.
Roseanne believes that yoga can benefit persons of all ages and all ability levels. She particularly appreciates the fact that yoga addresses the whole person, mind, body, and spirit; and encourages students to practice with an adventurous mind, staying aware of their personal abilities, but open to opportunities for positive change.
